its headquarters located in Maputo.

TRADING
Our core business is the trading of refined and unrefined petroleum products. We purchase fuel from the most reliable refineries, as such when we enter into a Sales Contract with our Clients we do it as Titleholders of the product and we have our own logistics capabilities in place.
Additionally, we welcome opportunities to facilitate transactions between our partners and customers through our procurement expertise.
LOGISTICS
Thanks to the diverse background of our Founder & CEO who lead companies for more than 30 years that operated its own fleet of sea vessels, a tank farm, and offered a wide range of maritime services to local Majors such as VITOL, GLENCORE, PUMA, our company is able to extend these services to any partner or customer that requires vessels for a given contract, as well as port storage. Thus making Omega Energy Ltd a company you can count on from acquisition to delivery.
We collaborate with Oil Majors and mutual partners in developing, restructuring and upgrading oil&gas exploration sites, petrochemical plants, refineries, oil rigs, pipelines, terminals, and related projects.
We are also involved in the construction of housing, urban developments, infrastructure and engineering projects, industrial facilities, and more.
These are undertaken in large scope collaboration and cooperation between private companies, international contractors and governments, creating jobs and enhancing quality of life.
JET A & A1, TS1, JET B, JET 8 & 5, AVGAS
Used to power gas turbine aircrafts. It has more demanding requirements than other types of fuels. It has a clear to straw-colored appearance. Jet Fuel is easier to obtain than AVGAS as it is reached earlier during the refining process of crude oil. AVGAS takes longer to be distilled when being refined and requires additional reforming and combining processes.
D6, MFO, MGO, MDO, IFO, HFO
These range from Ultra Low Sulphur Fuel Oils to High Sulphur Fuel Oils and types of Diesel as well as Gas Oil, all of which are used in the marine industry to power combustion engines of sea vessels. Fuel Oil products are the heaviest commercial fuels that can be obtained, heavier than gasoline and naphtha. These products are also known as Bunker Fuels.
EN590, D2, ULSD, AGO, Gasoline Ron
Generated from crude distillation process and used to efficiently power internal combustion engines. These types of fuel are intended for road vehicles, from heavy-duty trucks to personal cars. Additives are often added to enhance or maintain properties important to fuel performance and handling.
It is a sticky, black, highly viscous liquid or semi-solid form of petroleum. It may be found in natural deposits or may be a refined product.It’s primary use is in road construction, where it acts as glue agent or binder mixed with aggregate particles to create asphalt concrete. Its other main uses are for bituminous waterproofing products, including production of roofing felt and for sealing flat roofs.
It is a naturally occurring yellowish-black liquid found in geological formations beneath the Earth's surface, consisting of hydrocarbons with various molecular weights, mostly recovered by drilling. It is commonly refined into various types of fuels. Components of petroleum are separated using a technique called fractional distillation.
Liquefied Natural Gas is predominantly methane with some mixture of ethane, that has been cooled down to liquid form to simplify its transport from source to destination, then it is typically regassified and injected into the local pipeline infrastructure. Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, vehicles, aerosol propellant and refrigerant.
We contemplate different types of commodities, which can be divided into three categories:
- Energy: Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Coal
- Metals: Gold, Silver, Platinum , Copper , Nickel , Aluminum, Palladium, Iron Ore, and others
- Agricultural: Sugar, Cotton, Cocoa, Wheat, Corn, Rice, Coffee, Soy
A significant number of our partners and customers operate in different types of industries where construction materials and specialized engineering equipment are needed in large scale for projects, as well as feedstock for industrial processes and renewable energies.
OMEGA ENERGY LIMITED is managed by a team of qualified experts with long experience and understanding in the field of oil business who have set up a unique procedure to conclude any Sell & Purchase deals.
We have contracted
with refineries around the world, as a result we only accept to link
consumers to procure Crude Oil directly from producer.
Linking consumers directly to manufacturer/producers to purchase Refined Products: We do not agree to offers issued through trading company unless the trading companies “Agreement Owner” acknowledge signing an original NCNDA / IMFPA in favor of OMEGA ENERGY LIMITED aligned with detailed amount of commission to be paid to agreement owner upon every successful shipment. Intermediaries and/or brokers will be protected by OMEGA ENERGY LIMITED.
OMEGA ENERGY LIMITED only agrees to link seller upon buyer after review of Company Registration Documents. Customer must be a Distributor / Importer.
